Job Title: Farm Laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Farm Laborer to join our team at Golden Gate Mayfield Limited. As a Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop care, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply fertilizers to crops to promote healthy growth
  • Clean the crops to ensure they are free of debris and pests
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare them for planting
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to their size, shape, color, and volume
  • Mix fertilizers to create a suitable blend for crops
  • Pack fruits and vegetables for market
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth
  • Weeding to prevent competition from weeds
  • Clean work area to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Fertilize and spray crops to prevent disease and pests
  • Harvest crops at the right time to ensure maximum quality
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market
