About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Operations Vice-President to join our team at Rejoice Logistics (Canada) Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational efficiency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and materials, to ensure the effective execution of operational plans.
  • Departmental Management: Oversee the establishment and management of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Policy Development: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs that support business growth and success.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a senior operations role.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000.
  • Supervision: More than 20 people.
  • Transportation/Travel: Own vehicle and willing to travel internationally.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 37.5 hours per week.
