Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at T PAHAL TRANSPORT. This role involves transporting goods over long distances while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan or modify routes based on real-time conditions, utilizing computer systems, GPS, or other navigation tools to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce carbon footprint.
  • Demonstrate expertise in mountain driving.
  • Operate lighter, specialized trucks.
  • Load and unload cargo safely.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all vehicle operations.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping methods.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a large workload effectively.
