About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at BAGRI EXTERIOR LTD. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and scheduling.
  • Supervision and Training: Oversee apprenticeship training, supervise workers, and train or arrange for training to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Project Coordination: Co-ordinate and schedule activities, co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition materials and supplies, and manage inventory to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Team Management: Supervise workers and projects, and manage a team of 1 to 2 people or 3-4 people, depending on the project requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the construction industry, with a focus on site management and supervision.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, initiative, judgement, reliable, team player, and work term: permanent.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Dusty, noisy, odours, and outdoors.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Language and Work Term
  • Language: English.
