Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Iris Software Inc. in Toronto. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance team in a software development project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test strategies and approaches in Agile and Non-agile projects
  • Design and develop test cases at different levels (component/service, integration, end to end/user scenarios)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing
  • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance engineers to ensure timely and effective delivery of testing services
  • Develop and maintain non-functional test cases (component/service, integration, end to end) spanning all performance test levels (load, stress, endurance, reliability, configuration, rollout) and results analysis

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years' experience in a hands-on QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed or mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases)
  • Strong understanding of testing frameworks & methodologies (Agile Management Framework & Iterative Waterfall) and best practices
