Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Quality Assurance
    • Develop and implement food safety and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with production teams to ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance and sanitation staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
    • Provide coaching and training to team members to improve their knowledge and skills.
    • Develop and implement performance management systems to ensure that team members are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, including those related to food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance.
    • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify areas for improvement in our manufacturing processes and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
      • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and food safety, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
    • Skills and Knowledge
      • Strong leadership and team management skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
      • Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance regulations and standards.
