Job Summary

As a General Manager at Marriott Hotels, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and daily operations of our hotel. You will be the primary business leader, responsible for guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation. Your goal will be to deliver a return on investment to both Marriott International and property ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
  • Lead the property leadership team and hold them accountable for strategy execution and individual professional development.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to develop revenue-generating strategies and leverage Marriott demand engines.
  • Create a cohesive and high-performance Executive Committee and coach them to achieve positive results and improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers to promote the hotel's brand image and achieve business objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, with 8 years of experience in management operations, sales, and marketing, finance, and accounting.
  • Or a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, with 6 years of experience in management operations, sales, and marketing, finance, and accounting.
  • General Manager experience in a limited or full-service property.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
