Hotel Operations Manager

At Ontario Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on hotel performance and operations.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Requisition materials and supplies to ensure the hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services to guests to ensure they have a positive experience.
- College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
- 5 years or more of experience in the hotel and catering industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be working in an urban area, specifically in a hotel, motel, or resort environment.
Area of Specialization:The ideal candidate will have experience in the hotel and catering industry and be able to provide technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
