About the Role

Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Support Representative to join our team in Maple Ridge. As a key member of our Service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quotations and Order Management: Provide accurate and timely quotations for customers, ensuring compliance with company pricing guidelines.
  • Sales Order Entry: Enter sales orders efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Credit Limit and Customer Information Management: Review customer status and credit limits, ensuring accurate information is maintained and up-to-date.
  • Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with the Warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, including part orders and equipment pick-up.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Stay current with life safety product features, legislation, and regulations, providing expert advice to customers and colleagues.
  • Trade Show and Event Participation: Attend trade shows, seminars, and meetings to stay informed about industry developments and promote Mircom's products and services.
  • Lead Generation and Sales Support: Assist Sales Representatives in generating leads, managing customer accounts, and expediting sales orders and projects.
  • General Office Administration: Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling onsite meetings and providing product information to customers.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience: 1-3 years of similar working experience in the fire alarm, security, or electrical industry.
  • Education: Post-secondary education.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, strong customer service skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
