About the Team:
The Global Technology Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) division is a vital technology sector within Scotiabank, delivering essential infrastructure solutions and support on a global scale.
The IT Service Management (ITSM) department serves as the center of excellence, overseeing processes, governance, and operations of key ITSM practices worldwide.
Role Overview:
This is a full-time temporary position, where you will report to a Senior Manager. Your responsibilities will include supporting the formulation and execution of internal communication strategies, training initiatives, and organizational change management capabilities for the technology sector of the bank. Collaboration with ITSM Process Owners, Process Managers, and various functions across the organization will be essential. Key duties encompass enhancing employee engagement and managing communications and change initiatives for the portfolio. Extended hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.

Do You Have the Skills to Succeed in This Role?
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, build and maintain meaningful relationships across various functions, solve problems, and navigate complex environments independently.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- High adaptability and flexibility in a large organizational setting.
- A curious mindset, willing to take on tasks beyond core responsibilities, and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Completion of post-secondary education.
- Knowledge of the technology sector and/or Prosci Certified Change Practitioner certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with MS Teams, O365, and/or Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
