Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Expert to join our team at SC Johnson. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support to assigned business and customer portfolios, including P&L management, forecasting, and reporting to drive overall consumer results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with assigned customer/business teams to drive revenue and profitability growth through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Complete all month-end analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries as required to manage areas of responsibility on the P&L, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Provide monthly P&L forecasts for applicable line items, utilizing historical data and market trends to inform projections.
  • Generate key reports for various stakeholders within the organization, including senior leadership and external partners, to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Participate in the Corplan (Budget) process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement budget plans that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure that appropriate legal, tax, and accounting requirements associated with expenses are met, maintaining a high level of compliance and risk management.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Business or related field, with a CPA designation (either completed or nearly completed).
  • Two to three years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Fact-based problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Good interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical and deductive reasoning skills, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
