About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Floor Concepts Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install resilient floor coverings, including carpeting and hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
Work Environment

As a Flooring Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced urban area environment, requiring physical stamina and the ability to work at heights. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
