Equipment Associate Job Description

United Rentals is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Associate to join our team. As an Equipment Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment rental services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and manage power equipment for on-site clients
  • Ensure equipment safety compliance and maintain a clean work area
  • Load and unload equipment, and prepare equipment for rental
  • Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers, as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment
  • Track equipment and file them accordingly in the system
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Effective communication, multi-tasking, and strong teamwork skills
  • Diligent attention to safety
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
