Job Summary:

As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret information from SCADA, LOI displays, and PID drawings to ensure safe operation of facilities.
  • Support programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
  • Provide instrumentation support and maintenance to ensure system reliability.
  • Use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation and diagnose.
  • Repair, maintain, and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Instrumentation Certificate.
  • Valid and up-to-date Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, and CSTS safety tickets.
  • 2+ years' maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
  • High regard for personal safety and the safety of company assets and employees.
  • Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
