Anglian Home Improvements is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team as a Window Installation Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the installation team in removing and fitting windows and doors in residential properties.
- Liaise with the depot and warehouse to check lead times and collect stock.
- Participate in off-the-job training and study to develop skills and knowledge in window installation.
- Work on site at customers' premises, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Develop accurate and organized record-keeping skills.
Requirements:
- Numeracy and literacy skills, with a minimum of GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Ability and willingness to study for the Installer qualification, including off-the-job training opportunities.
- Good observation and information gathering skills, with the ability to identify and gather relevant evidence.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular reviews with your line manager, with opportunities to develop a personal development plan and undertake training.
