Role Overview – Account Executive in Commercial Insurance

In the capacity of an Account Executive at Western Coast Insurance Services, you will leverage your insurance knowledge to identify and attract new clientele, ensuring they receive the appropriate coverage for their needs. This position offers a hybrid work environment, along with comprehensive training and licensing support.

Typical Responsibilities Include

Identifying and promoting additional services to existing clients across all business lines. Achieving a healthy work-life balance with the flexibility to design your own schedule to meet and surpass sales objectives. Actively generating quality new business through networking and establishing Centers of Influence to maintain a steady flow of referrals. Enhancing client retention by cultivating strong relationships and providing insightful advice to clients for sustainable growth. Navigating various online portals of insurance partners to process customer applications efficiently. Meeting and exceeding both sales and retention goals. Collaborating with underwriters from insurance companies to ensure compliance with evolving guidelines. Acting as a liaison between clients and external insurance partners to ensure equitable representation for all parties involved. Engaging in continuous professional development through industry participation and relevant training courses.

Qualifications and Skills

Level 2 Insurance license is a prerequisite. A genuine desire to assist individuals in safeguarding their most valuable assets. A self-driven and entrepreneurial approach with the potential for unlimited earnings through a combination of fixed and variable compensation. A results-oriented Sales Representative with exceptional interpersonal abilities to proactively engage with clients. Proficient communication skills, both in person and through various digital channels. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to adapt to challenges.

Work Schedule

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
