About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Cook to join our team at Bukhara Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
