Corporate Accounting Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing all corporate accounting functions, including internal and external financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the corporate accounting team, including accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, internal controls, internal audit, and budgeting.
- Timely reporting of Financial Statements of the operation: monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Ensure Bank Reconciliation and accruals are balanced and reported accurately.
- Prepare the Financial Budgets for the company, with the assistance of the Senior Management team.
- Set up the Year End audit process and supporting documents.
- Work directly with the VP of Finance, CFO's and our external auditors to ensure proper reporting of the financial status of the Group for our year-end.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A post-secondary education in business or accounting - CPA, CGA, CMA or CA.
- Years of experience in corporate accounting within a dealership environment.
- PBS experience is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up and accuracy coupled with good analytical skills as well as solid business acumen.
- Strong working knowledge of computer accounting systems.
- Advanced skills using MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have a valid G driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract.
