Job Summary

First Hire inc. is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and implement just-in-time inventory systems to minimize waste and optimize production.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of 16-20 production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Cost Control: Manage production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads, to ensure profitability and meet budget targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, operations management, or supply chain management.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a production management role, with a proven track record of success in managing production schedules, inventory, and quality control.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of production staff. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
