Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Production Team: Supervise and lead the production team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with Team Leads: Collaborate with team leads to coordinate work activities and ensure seamless production operations.
- Ensure a Safe Working Environment: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and guidelines.
- Hiring and Training: Involved in hiring and training new team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Other Related Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education: Post-secondary education is an asset.
- Supervisory Experience: 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with TSSA Guidelines: Familiar with TSSA guidelines and regulations.
- Proven Supervisory Skills: Proven supervisory and team management skills.
- Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing unionized environment is preferred.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
