Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer/Landscaper to join our team at Black & McDonald. As a Labourer/Landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining various Manitoba Hydro site locations in the City of Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site maintenance tasks, including backfilling holes, topsoil and seed installation, and laying down sod.
  • Operate various vehicles, including a 5-ton minidump, dump trailer, and water truck.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure site cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 encouraged).
  • Experience in lawn care, preferably with sod, topsoil, and seed installation.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds and work in various temperatures.
  • Reliable transportation to work location.
