Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant/Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Personal Property Pricing team. As a key member of our team, you will provide actuarial expertise and support to drive business growth and improve our insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ratemaking and product reviews for personal property products, including rate indications, predictive modeling, competitive analysis, and financial impact analysis.
  • Develop and present high-quality recommendations to management, supported by thorough analysis and data-driven insights.
  • Provide actuarial support for new product development and assist in the implementation of changes to our systems.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of our insurance portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Maintain, develop, and validate actuarial reports to meet business needs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop, modify, and validate predictive statistical models to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Corporate Actuarial, Advanced Analytics, Auto Pricing, Commercial, and Product Design, to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in insurance or a related field, with a strong background in actuarial pricing and predictive modeling.
  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 Associateship/Fellowship Exams completed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply actuarial science, mathematics, probability, statistics, and business principles to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments and meet deadlines.
