Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year

Job Description:

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new service offerings on top of a strong cloud foundation
  • Support development teams in leveraging our larger machine learning operations (MLOps)
  • Drive the design, implementation, and management for expanding observability infrastructure, keeping up to date with new technologies
  • Lead sustainable incident response, blameless postmortems, and production improvements that result in direct business opportunities
  • Collaborate with software development and the infrastructure team to design, implement, and maintain multiple business offerings
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
  • Manage and secure cloud-based environments (AWS)
  • Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
  • Periodical On-Call responsibility, alongside your fellow team members
  • Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in AWS and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on scripting experience with Python.
  • Expert experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3 Bucket, CDK, API Gateway).
  • Strong experience in DevOps and web service-based systems engineering.
  • Expert experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation templates (CFTs).
  • Good working knowledge of Serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, Serverless Framework).
  • Strong experience with Release Management, testing, deployment, and software support.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • AWS Certification is desirable.
