Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciliations, and payments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile invoices, credit notes, and other financial documents
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and reconciliations
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases
- Support the Accounting team with financial analysis and reporting
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
