About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and manage expenses to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment.
