Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard and that staff are working efficiently.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and are equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Hire food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within budget and that our costs are under control.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that our customers receive a high level of service and that their concerns are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate records and can make informed decisions.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
