Position Summary

This role involves overseeing renewal processes and endorsements by collecting necessary information, providing quotes, and negotiating with brokers, all while receiving support and mentorship from experienced Underwriters.

Key Responsibilities

The essential duties include:

  • Collaborating effectively with underwriters in a dynamic team environment
  • Assisting in underwriting support tasks
  • Managing renewal accounts by gathering data, providing quotes, and negotiating with brokers under the guidance of senior underwriters
  • Implementing company strategies to maintain existing business and contribute to team objectives
  • Processing endorsements and cancellations, ensuring accurate premium calculations
  • Engaging with brokers through various communication channels
  • Performing additional tasks as required

Required Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
  • Attention to detail to manage renewals and policy modifications accurately
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Proficient written communication and professional interaction skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets is advantageous

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $45,000-$52,000 CAD annually.
