Job Title: Network Support Technician

At YUVRAJX INC., we are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal network performance
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintaining control records and ensuring network stability
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to enhance network functionality and user experience
  • Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines to improve online visibility
  • Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and designers, providing timely and effective support
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Supervise technical staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure team success

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in network administration and support
  • Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek
  • English as the primary language of work
