Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Crossroads Country Market. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to quality and freshness, working closely with our suppliers to source the best ingredients.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and management of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and efficient.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers receive a warm and welcoming experience in our kitchen.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
- Work Environment: Our kitchen is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and working in a hot and humid environment.
