VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY (VMI) SPECIALIST

As a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding service and support to our clientele. Your role encompasses overseeing inventory levels, placing orders, executing Vendor Managed Inventory initiatives, and fostering robust customer relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver effective solutions to MSC customers and team members
  • Execute Vendor Managed Inventory strategies
  • Establish and nurture professional connections with key stakeholders at assigned customer locations
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Receive shipments, confirm accuracy, and organize stock
  • Create new orders and secure customer consent
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of on-site equipment
  • Leverage company technology for daily operations
  • Develop routing plans and keep records of daily activities

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in supply chain management and process enhancement is preferred
  • Background in customer service is advantageous

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in computer systems
  • Ability to adapt to order management systems
  • Integrity and capacity to build customer relationships
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Strong communication abilities

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver's license is necessary
  • Willingness to travel consistently within the designated area
  • Capability to lift products weighing up to 50 lbs.
