About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our replenishment team at RONA+. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring good customer experience by helping the supply team meet goals for in-stock products, service rate, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help the supply team meet goals for in-stock products, service rate, inventory turnover, and supplier performance
  • Identify top sellers and ensure sufficient stock levels
  • Support stores by responding to all questions and problems regarding procurement
  • Ensure communication between stores and relevant departments
  • Recommend various opportunities for improvement in order to meet objectives
  • Mobilize and involve other sectors and stores in order to meet objectives
  • Take charge of monitoring various improvement interventions
  • Efficiently meet store needs in order to quickly resolve issues
  • Work closely with the teams in charge of procurement, planning, merchandising, and logistics and flyer activities ID sku discrepancies and address, backorder issues

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field (an asset)
  • 2 years' relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of databases
  • Analytical mindset
  • Ability to work well both as part of a team and individually
  • Knowledge of retail and/or distribution (an asset)
