Job Summary:

The Facility Security Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the regulatory compliance of our facilities with all applicable laws and regulations in accordance with the Aviation Security legislation and our company's standards. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operational quality of the facility's screening process, maintaining documentation to prove compliance, and conducting self-assessments at the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Ensure that all procedures are followed to maintain regulatory compliance with Aviation Security legislation.
  • Audit Preparation: Ensure that the site is compliant for authority inspections (audits) without major findings.
  • Local Operating Plan (LOP) Execution: Execute our Aviation Security Local Operating Plan (LOP) to ensure seamless operations.
  • Training and Development: Coach and train personnel to ensure efficient and effective response to security breaches.
  • Screening Workforce Management: Monitor and motivate the screening workforce to maintain aviation security standards.

Requirements:

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
