Job Title: Senior Licensed Associate, Wealth Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Licensed Associate to join our team at Blue Chip Recruiting Ltd. as a Senior Investment Associate in our successful UHNW business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Multi-Family Office team in Calgary by leveraging your industry knowledge, business development, and customer service skills to provide exceptional service levels to clients and internal partners.
  • Complete account processing activities, including global reporting and proactive wealth planning.
  • Manage client relationships with a commitment to providing extraordinary service.
  • Assist with business development by coordinating opportunities, following up on prospective client leads, and using a CRM tool to develop pipeline and opportunities for revenue and asset under administration growth.
  • Exhibit a level of professionalism that allows clients to feel comfortable and able to discuss personal information.
  • Commit to a rigorous follow-up relating to all client transactions to ensure proper processing and minimize errors.
  • Act as a general resource person for clients, preparing letters, client communication pieces, etc.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely, warm, and friendly manner.
  • Proactively maintain current knowledge of policy and procedure changes within the firm and industry.

Requirements:

  • Current or immediately eligible for IIROC Investment Representative or RR licensing (CSC, CPH).
  • Completion of a financial planning designation such as WME, PFP, or CFP is not required but considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 5+ years' industry experience, preferably in wealth management, financial planning, or Investment operations capacity.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate a reliable work ethic with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and work requirements.
  • Demonstrate a high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Financial Services software.
  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field.
