Senior Auditor, Banking

As a Senior Auditor at Manulife, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, risk-based audit services to support the company's risk management practices and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing audit projects to evaluate risks and control effectiveness.
- Conduct interviews with management to understand business risks and develop audit programs to assess these risks.
- Assess control effectiveness and prepare audit reports with practical recommendations to improve risk management practices.
- Present findings and recommendations to business unit management and resolve contentious issues.
- Follow up on open audit issues until resolved.
Requirements:
- University degree required.
- A recognized accounting or auditing designation, with 3 to 5 years of internal or external audit experience.
- Knowledge of banking operations is a definite asset.
- Demonstrated understanding of business processes and risk implications, with the ability to analyze situations and make value-added recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations.
- Ability to develop and carry out audit programs to deliver quality results on time and within budget.
Location: Waterloo, Ontario
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Salary Range: $67,275.00 CAD - $112,125.00 CAD
