As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing way.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to our health and safety policies.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that all food is stored and handled in accordance with our food safety policies.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Establish work schedules, and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Availability for shift or on-call work, and willingness to relocate for this position.
