Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Cable Installer to join our team at NETECH CABLING INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, testing equipment to locate transmission faults, and completing test and service reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including trunking systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Equipment Testing: Test equipment to locate transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and determine work assignments.
  • Cable Installation: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, and connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems, and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
