About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Cable Installer to join our team at Ansatel Communications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including trunking systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Test equipment to locate transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
  • Cable Management: Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets, and install cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
  • System Repair and Maintenance: Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems, including faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Quality Assurance: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
