About the Role

The Cycles team at Cryptostart is pioneering a transformative approach to payments and credit, bridging DeFi with real-world applications. Our initiative represents a groundbreaking advancement in monetary policy and the foundational structure of payment systems. The Cycles product suite includes an API-driven solution that enhances business sustainability by minimizing cash flow requirements and reducing working capital expenses. Our team comprises leading experts in liquidity-saving payment solutions for actual businesses, underpinned by the scientific principles that enable this liquidity-saving capability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and secure high-potential partners, creating optimal partnership opportunities for the Cycles team.
  2. Streamline the business development process by managing a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads, engaging and nurturing relationships with potential partners and clients, including opportunity tracking, calls, follow-ups, and closing.
  3. Drive the financial success of Cycles by maintaining revenue accountability across designated go-to-market channels, enhancing performance, and maximizing user growth.
  4. Collaborate closely with Cycles product and marketing leads to identify customer pain points, address key product gaps, and explore innovative commercial models to improve overall business performance.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development, suitable for a mid to senior-level role.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in business development within the crypto sector, specifically with a DeFi protocol, exchange, or Web3 payments provider.
  3. Proven track record in sourcing and developing a pipeline of potential partners and successfully closing impactful partnership agreements.
  4. Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships with strategic partners and engaging with senior management within target organizations.
  5. Expertise in negotiating complex partnership agreements, adept at navigating the commercial aspects of contracts.
  6. Strong understanding of blockchain technology and the DeFi landscape.
  7. Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic, early-stage organization.
  8. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to senior executives in various settings.
