Compensation Strategy Advisor

At Banque Nationale du Canada, we are seeking a skilled Compensation Strategy Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our compensation team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and administering compensation programs and policies for various employee groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement compensation strategies that align with the bank's overall business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain compensation policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide expert advice and support to employees and managers on compensation-related matters, including salary administration, benefits, and performance management.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform compensation decisions and ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, finance, and business leaders, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in compensation strategy and administration, preferably in a financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business data and trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
