We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our team at BrokerLink. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Service Independent Business Unit accounts with a focus on providing prompt and professional service to our clients.
- Provide customers with expert advice and guidance on insurance matters, including discussing customer concerns and helping them understand their insurance options.
- Receive and process all incoming Commercial paperwork, including quotes, applications, and endorsements.
- Assist with quotes to customers, review existing coverage, and update customer file information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, and issue insurance certificates to ensure seamless transactions.
- Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments to ensure timely and efficient processing.
- Communicate with Insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers' behalf, and negotiate renewal of terms to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Source and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applications to ensure accurate and complete submissions.
- Be a part of the billing team – answer client calls regarding payments and provide exceptional customer service.
- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
- Commercial Insurance experience is an asset.
- Alberta General Level 1 License is an asset.
- Exposure to Epic is an asset.
- Previous sales experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal and credit check.
