Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of business banking professionals focusing on the small to mid-sized commercial sector, emphasizing new member acquisition through loans, deposits, and additional services.
  2. Manage a targeted portfolio of key client relationships.
  3. Formulate and execute a robust business development strategy aimed at attracting new full-service commercial clients, leveraging the expertise of specialists in various areas.
  4. Maintain a professional presence and represent the organization effectively.
  5. Guide your team in providing tailored solutions, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  6. Utilize senior lender adjudication limits to support your team's initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of five years of experience in commercial relationship management.
  2. Proven business development skills, analytical capabilities, and a solid understanding of portfolio management.
  3. Experience in building relationships with members, potential clients, and community stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated leadership experience in team management.
  5. A university degree in a relevant business discipline.
  6. Relevant experience in business or professional banking within a Canadian financial institution.
  7. Consideration will be given to equivalent experience in lieu of formal education.
