About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team at Sierra Space. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our business operations, with a focus on financial review, affordability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning and tracking, providing oversight into program budget preparation and cost controls.
  • Manage business resource planning and tracking, in coordination with other corporate entities.
  • Provide key analytics and guidance on opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Serve as the core liaison between multiple teams and business operations to support and fulfill their financial responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
  • Demonstrated experience with Profit and Loss statements.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical role in business, program, or operations management.
  • Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
  • A strong background in DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of labor rate composition.
