Strategic Account Manager

As a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, we're seeking a skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our Commercial division.
This role will focus on developing and executing business development strategies to acquire and retain major and global accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Pursuing new account opportunities through collaborative efforts with Strategic Account Managers.
- Engaging and converting prospects into active accounts, owning the conversion process throughout the lifecycle.
- Addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Developing strategic account plans with RVPs and Account Executives.
- Supporting Account Executives in becoming stronger strategic business planners and executors.
Requirements include:
- 4-year college degree in a related field.
- 5 years of progressively responsible job-specific work experience in a comparable environment.
- A willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Strong leadership and strategic coaching skills.
- Collaborative team building and problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinking, analytical, and IT literacy skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
