We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with our Director of Care in providing exceptional resident care at peopleCare Tavistock. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care and leading the nursing and personal care staff in the assigned unit.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Physician, Director of Care, and leadership team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assess, diagnose, and evaluate resident conditions, prescribing treatments and diagnostics as needed.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide clinical leadership and education to nursing and personal care staff, promoting resident-centered care.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the organization's Quality Improvement Plan.
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from a recognized program.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as Registered Nurse in the Extended Class or RN (EC), in good standing.
- Advanced knowledge and decision-making skills in assessment, diagnosis, and healthcare management.
- Experience in Long-Term Care an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
