Structured Finance Analyst

Equitable Bank is seeking a Structured Finance Analyst to become a valuable member of their team. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks related to the management, accounting, reporting, and financial evaluation of the institution's securitization initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, issuance, and resolution of new NHA MBS.
  • Compile monthly CMHC 2840 investor reports and facilitate payments to the CPTA.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of and comply with the Bank's policies and procedures in accordance with CMHC's NHA MBS and CMB Guidelines.
  • Oversee daily cash monitoring and reconciliation.
  • Assist in the financial statement closing process by preparing monthly accounting schedules.
  • Contribute to the preparation of month-over-month variance assessments.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Commerce, with a preference for Accounting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with CMHC-sponsored NHA MBS and CMB securitization programs is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
