Medical Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic medical assistant to join our team at Square One Medical Clinic in downtown Mississauga. As a medical assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our board-certified physicians in their daily tasks.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with physicians to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Perform various medical procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, and wart removal, under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist with patient intake, including vital sign measurements and documentation in the patient's electronic chart.
- Provide exceptional customer service and phone etiquette to patients and physicians.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure timely communication with patients and physicians.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical terminology, grammar, and punctuation.
- Medical background, preferably with a doctor or nurse degree.
- Medical assistant certification is an asset.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Oscar EMR.
