Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Project Officer to lead the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the project's planning, design, construction, and equipment phases, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and interdependencies, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on the project.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project governance, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery, including vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, supplemented by 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role in a large complex healthcare organization.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex capital projects, with expertise in project management, risk management, and governance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
