We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Business Banking Specialist to become a key member of our team at Envision Financial.

The Senior Business Banking Specialist will oversee the ongoing management and expansion of a designated portfolio of high-value clients. This position offers a comprehensive suite of commercial lending and investment solutions to business clients while actively seeking out potential new clients through referrals, networking, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Client Development: Cultivates and sustains relationships with current clients, engages with external business organizations, and networks within the community to generate referrals. Actively seeks new business clients and promotes the organization through participation in community events and initiatives.

Portfolio Oversight: Aids in the formulation of annual business strategies by analyzing market opportunities and needs within the assigned territory; maintains regular communication with portfolio clients and fosters long-term relationships to ensure sustained growth and profitability.

Sales and Advisory Strategy: Delivers intricate commercial lending and investment advisory services to business clients for commercial mortgages, loans, lines of credit, and registered investment products; refers clients to product specialists as necessary; and meets or surpasses annual sales and growth objectives.

Risk Oversight: Conducts annual evaluations or assists in compiling documentation for annual assessments on commercial accounts within the assigned portfolio, ensuring compliance with all credit terms and conditions, and regularly reports on portfolio status and performance; initiates collection efforts for accounts in delinquency under 90 days and recommends appropriate actions for significantly delinquent accounts to maximize recovery; collaborates with credit recovery on non-accrual loans as needed.

Credit Evaluation: Ensures adherence to quality standards, risk management policies, and sound underwriting practices across all lending activities, approving commercial loans within designated limits.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 6 years in a commercial sales/lending capacity, or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in complex financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and risk management preferred
  • Advanced understanding of applicable legislation and regulatory requirements impacting commercial credit approval preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Excellent listening abilities with the capacity to comprehend client needs and provide suitable solutions
  • Results-driven mindset with demonstrated business development capabilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly MS Excel and Word.
  • Exhibits an understanding of risk and risk ownership by demonstrating compliance with policies and procedures

Compensation Transparency

Salary Range: $87,280 - $111,800
