Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to clients in the community, with a focus on wound care management and pediatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treating and assessing pediatric patients in-school and in-homes
- Caring for client needs and managing wound care
- Reporting and coordinating with the HCCSS (LHIN)
- Creating reports and updates on clients
- Ordering supplies for patients
- Building relationships and rapport with clients
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the CNO
- Currently certified with Standard First Aid & CPR/ AED (Level C)
- Ability to commit to weekends and on-call
- Minimum of two years' community experience
