About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Furniture and Fixtures Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at B And E Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all production targets are met, and that our products are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Provide guidance and training to production staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and production targets.
    • Monitor and control production processes to ensure that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
  • Materials Management
    • Requisition and manage materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure that production needs are met.
    • Implement inventory control systems to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
    • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all production staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations and procedures.
    • Investigate and report any health and safety incidents or near-misses.
  • Support for Diversity and Inclusion
    • Provide support and accommodations for employees with disabilities, including physical accessibility accommodations.
    • Assist with the integration of newcomers and refugees into the workplace, including language training and skills development.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for all employees.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous employees.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
